Numinar can flag canvassing activity that looks unusual, like a canvasser who was far from the doors they knocked, and email you about it. Here's how to choose what gets flagged and how often you hear about it.
đĄ Suspicious Activity Alerts are part of Quality Assurance for Canvassing. Owners, Admins, and Parent Admins can set them up.
Step 1: Go to Settings and click Alerts
In the left menu, click Settings (1), then click the Alerts tab (2).
Step 2: Choose how often you get emails
Next to Send me an email when suspicious canvassing activity is detected, choose how often you want to hear about flagged activity:
Immediately: an email within a few minutes of activity being flagged.
Every 4 Hours: a summary at 10 AM, 2 PM, 6 PM, and 10 PM.
End of Day Summary: one summary at 9 PM.
All: every email above.
Never: no emails. This is the default.
Times are in your organization's time zone. This setting is just for you, so each admin on your team can choose their own.
Step 3: Choose what gets flagged
Turn on a rule with its switch (1), then set the numbers (2). Rules that are turned off are grayed out and don't flag anyone.
Distance From Door: flags a canvasser when too many of their doors were knocked too far from the voter's address. For example, more than 15% of doors over 100 feet away, once they've knocked at least 10 doors.
Interactions Per Hour: flags a canvasser who records fewer or more interactions per hour than you set. Set the minimum to 0 if you don't want a minimum.
Doors Per Hour: works the same way, but counts households instead of individual voters.
Success Rate: flags a canvasser whose successful survey rate is higher than you set, once they've knocked a minimum number of doors.
Step 4: Click Save
Click Save in the top right. This saves your email setting and your rules together.
Where flagged activity shows up
Flagged numbers are highlighted on the Canvassing page. Click a canvasser and open the Performance tab to see why they were flagged. Click Edit In Settings to jump back to your rules. See Quality Assurance for Canvassing for more.
