Step 1: Open your project while you have service
Before you head somewhere with weak or no signal, open the canvassing project you're going to work on. The app saves that project on your phone so you can use it offline.
Step 2: Look for the offline banner
When you lose service, a banner appears at the top of the screen: Offline mode is enabled. You can keep working in your project as usual.
Step 3: Keep canvassing
Record your conversations just like normal. The banner keeps count of what's waiting to upload, like "2 offline interactions stored".
After each conversation, you'll briefly see Interaction Saved! with the number of interactions waiting to upload.
š” If you lose service right as you tap Save, you may see a red Failed to record data message. Don't worry: your interaction is still saved on your phone and will upload later.
Step 4: Reconnect to upload
Once you have service again, open the app and it uploads everything automatically. You'll see Connection Restored! with the number of interactions uploaded.
