Phone reliability scores are a system we use to grade the reliability of contact information. This score gauges how sure we are that the phone number in question is currently in use by the associated voter. Using numbers with higher reliability scores helps to ensure that we are actually getting our messaging to the voter.

Phone reliability scoring is used to greatly increase voter contact efficiency.

Phone reliability used to be graded with both an alpha and numeric scores depending on the source of the data. The RNC has since implemented a simpler scoring system to cut down on the confusion!

We now utilize a 3-tiered system, H, M and L (High, Medium, Low). High being the highest reliability and L being the lowest. Any numbers listed under U are unverified numbers and are extremely unreliable. We generally recommend using Highly verified numbers.
