Numinar's Relational Organizing feature means voters get your message from people they know. Numinar matches your volunteers' phone contacts, or their current location, with voters on your target list, then gives them a pre-written text or survey to use.
Volunteers text from their own phone number, through their own messaging app, so voters hear from a friend instead of a campaign.
Two ways your volunteers can help
Both show up on the Home screen of the Numinar mobile app:
Contact Your Neighbors shows volunteers the voters on your list who live near them, so they can knock on the door and fill out a quick survey.
Relational texting projects, like "Text Your Friends" below, match a volunteer's phone contacts to your voter list and suggest a text to send each match.

Set up a relational texting project
Setting up texting takes four steps:
Build a voter list. Volunteers' contacts are matched against it. See How to create a list for relational.
Write your texts. See How to create messaging for relational organizing.
Create the project. Go to Projects and click New Project. Set Outreach Type to Relational Texting, pick your Texts and Voter List, choose Public so every volunteer can use it, and set the Status to Todo. See How to create a relational texting project.
Share it with your volunteers. The project appears in their Numinar app right away. Send them How to use Relational to contact your friends.
âď¸ Volunteers can't see Draft or Complete projects. Set the status to Todo or In Progress when you're ready for them to start.
Set up Contact Your Neighbors
Build a survey for volunteers to fill out at the door. See How to Create a Canvassing Survey.
Choose your survey and list. In the left menu, click Settings, then the Organization tab. Scroll down to Canvassing Nearby Voters Settings, pick the Survey and Voter List, and click Save Changes.
Once a survey is set, volunteers see Contact Your Neighbors at the top of their Home screen. The app shows them up to 100 of the closest voters on your list, within 5 miles of where they are. If no list is picked, Numinar uses voters modeled as Strong GOP or Lean GOP (or registered Republicans, depending on your voter data).
