Numinar's Relational Organizing feature means voters get your message from people they know. This feature matches the personal phone contacts or geolocation of a volunteer with voters in a target universe and prompts pre-scripted text messages or canvass surveys.

Relational Organizing gives volunteers two options:

  • Help Your Friends Vote

  • Help Your Neighbors Vote

Help Your Friends Vote

This feature allows you to match your volunteers contacts to a list from your organization’s voter file. Then they can send pre-filled texts to your matched contacts from their own number.

Step 1/7: Create a Voter List

Check out this article on how to create a list!

Click on Voter Lists…

Step 2/7: Create a Text or Conditional Text

Draft the text message or text messages you want to send to contacts.

Conditional Texts allow you to send different messages based on the way a voter is tagged. Watch this demonstration video on Conditional Texts for more details.

Step 3/7: Go to Settings and Click the Relational Organizing Tab

Click on Relational Organizing

Step 4/7: Fill out the Public Information

Check the box next to Public and then click save changes to make your organization public.

Step 5/7: Set the lists and messages you want

Don't forget to click "Save Changes"!

Step 6/7: Open the Mobile app

Select Help Your Friends Vote

Step 7/7: Match your contacts

You'll be able to send the text messages to who you want.

Help Your Neighbors Vote

This feature allows volunteers to canvass voters from a target list within 1 mile of their current location.
