How to see relational organizing results

Written by Lindsay Farrow

You can see relational organizing results on the Reports page. Every text a volunteer sends through a relational project is counted as a Relational Text.

Step 1: Open Reports

In the left menu, click Reports (1). This is your team dashboard. Find the Relational Texts card at the end of the row of totals at the top (2). It shows how many relational texts your team sent in the selected date range. To change the range, use the Past Month filter in the top right.

Step 2: Click the Relational Texts card

Click the Relational Texts card. The whole dashboard switches to relational activity only:

  • Timeline shows relational texts sent each day.

  • Leaderboard ranks your volunteers. Use Group By to see totals by team or project instead.

In the Leaderboard, the column with the people icon on the far right is relational texts.

Click the Relational Texts card again to go back to every outreach type.

Step 3: See each text in the Activity feed

In the Activity card on the right, click Feed to see each relational text as it happens, like "Maria Lopez contacted David Ellis".

💬 Frequently Asked Questions

How do I download relational results?

Use the download button on the Leaderboard to export totals for each volunteer, including a relational column. For a deeper dive into the voters contacted through relational organizing, use the download button on the Activity card. See How to export (download) data in Numinar.

Can my volunteers see results in the app?

Yes. Turn on Show the leaderboard in the mobile app in Settings → Organization → Mobile Leaderboard. Volunteers will see a Leaderboard tab with friends reached by your organization. Every member can see each other's totals.

Where do surveys from Contact Your Neighbors show up?

Survey answers collected through Contact Your Neighbors are saved like any other survey response. Consider giving your relational survey questions their own tag so those answers are easy to find.
