Some organizations pay volunteers for each friend they remind to vote using the Numinar app. This is called Paid Relational. Here's how it works and how to start earning.
đĄ The organization that recruited you decides how much you earn for each contact and the most you can earn. Numinar is the app they use, and Numinar sends your payment once your texts are verified.
How you earn
You earn the amount shown on the project, like $2.50 per contact, for each friend you text from that project.
Only friends who match a registered voter on the organization's list show up in the app, and only those count.
Each friend counts once per project. Texting the same friend again doesn't earn more.
Each project has a maximum you can earn, set by the organization. Once you reach it, more texts in that project don't earn more.
Step 1: Download the app and join the organization
đą Download the Numinar app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store and create your account. Use an email address you check, since your payment is sent there.
If the organization sent you a join link, open it on your phone. Once you've signed up and verified your email, it adds you to the organization. See Getting started on the mobile app for more.
Step 2: Open the paid project
On the Home screen, paid projects show how much you earn for each contact. Tap the project to start.
Step 3: Match your contacts
Allow Numinar to access your contacts, then tap Match Contacts. Matching takes about 30 to 60 seconds. Make sure you give Numinar access to all of your contacts. If you only allow selected contacts, matching won't work.
You'll see the friends who are registered voters on the organization's list. Tap a friend to text them.
Step 4: Text your friend
Choose the script you'd like to send, then tap Edit and Send.
Your phone's messaging app opens with the text filled in. Make any changes you want and tap Send.
Back in Numinar, you'll see a thank-you message and the app moves on to your next friend.
âď¸ On Android: after you send the text, come back to Numinar and tap Confirm send. This is what counts your text, so don't skip it.
Step 5: Keep track of your earnings
On the Home screen, Cash out your earnings shows how much you can cash out right now. When you're ready to get paid, see How to cash out and get paid.
