Canvassing is easy with Numinar! First step for creating your canvassing project is to create a canvassing list.
💡You must have a geofence if the number of voters in your list with filters selected is greater than 500. You can have up to 500 voters in a geofence and as many geofences in a list as you want!
Step 1/12: Click on Lists
Step 2/12: Click on New List
Step 3/12: Label your list and click create list
Step 4/12: Add your desired filters
Step 5/12: Select which filter values you want (they will turn green when selected)
Step 6/12: Be sure to save your filters before toggling to Geofence
You must add geofences to your canvassing list if the number of voters is greater than 500!
💡 The RNC has recently released Neighborhood ID's. This allows you to easily group voters by neighborhoods which can be very helpful when cutting large lists. Neighborhood ID's can be selected when creating or editing a list under the 'Geography' tab.
Step 7/12: Click on Geofence
🚨 Remember, lists with over 500 voters MUST have a geofence. Projects created for lists with more than 500 voters without a geofence will select 500 voters within the associated list at random.
Step 8/12: At first you will have a view of the entire state...
Step 9/12: Click on Zoom in to get to street level view to see voters populate
Step 10/12: Click on Polygon tool to draw your geofence(s)
Drag and drop to draw your custom shape. Double click to set your geofence.
Step 11/12: Click on Save after drawing your geofence
Step 12/12: Draw as many geofences in a list as you like!
